Manarola is one of the most charming and romantic villages of the Cinque Terre, built on a high rock 70 meters above sea level. The small port features a boat ramp, picturesque houses facing the sea, a small square where restaurants can be found seafood.
The town is uphill and downhill, with steep, narrow alleys leading to the sea. If you want to go to the top of Manarola, take a look at the church. Today, it serves as a meeting place for religious groups and the community, but the clock tower used to watch pirates attack in older times.
